ACU homecoming

We went to Abilene last weekend for our 10 year reunion. We went with the Quile's and had a grand time. We arrived Thursday just in time for Chapel. I text my cousin Morgan...and got to sit with her. Chapel has come a long way since I was there. I know it was singing chapel, but it just looked different having boys and girls up on stage. The singing was amazing. One major difference since we were there...cell phones! Everyone was texting during chapel!!! not cousin Morgan! I bet she never does that! Emaline got her face painted at the carnival.
Our friends Ms. Emily and Ms. Kim (Parker's new favorite person).

Proof Bowden was there.

Parker's face painting. By the way...HE DID NOT WANT TO WASH IT OFF, so he wore it all weekend, or atleast pieces of it. SO if you saw us....that is why half his face was green. We knew his face looked dirty...but what can you do.

COUSIN MORGAN volunteered at the carnival at the bounce house! What a good freshman!

Emaline with Foster Capshaw. Her daddy and his daddy went to high school together....mom's and dads went to ACU.

Ko Jo Kai breakfast, at 7 am!

Brittany goes to church with me now. I always forget she was...oops, is a Kojie.

Sweet Hayley! I HAD NO idea she isa kojie! This Kojie is from Paris. Now I feel old!

Jenise and I made a Sonic run after breakfast before the parade. I look like I need a nap...oh wait...I DID!

Emaline greeting everyone at the parade.

Bowden proof.

cousin Jaymie was there. NICE surprise.

Parker with his FINGER!
I guess that is all the photos I have of Homecoming, other than random ones Emaline took with Stacey's camera. We did camera switching all weekend. I didn't want to hall my camera everywhere, so we took Stacey's lots of places until his battery wore out. stink. That was right before we saw some good friends who have moved to Sweetwater.
Now, off to bed. Happy Halloween everyone!

stuff. Below is P sporting his IPOD! Yep, they made that at church last Wednesday night. We are currently have a ladies bible study, so the shepards and some other men are teaching the kids classes. The back of the IPOD has a scripture on it. He kept talking about LISTENING TO GOD'S WORD! Way to go teachers! We had western day at school last week.

I lost the hat after this photo. I forgot that the kids get their big heads from me! BUT, look at B! He looks so big!

ANd the Cowgirl E!

More posts to follow...I hope!

you like me!

hooray! people still like us! Thank you for all of your comments! Now, to answer a couple of questions or comments....The google reader is amazing if you need encouragement! It does take a little time putting in all your blogs, but it keeps a list of all your blogs and highlights when someone has updated. When you open the blog to read in their screen, to the right of the title is a little arrow that will take you to that post on their blog where you will see they have changed their template 2-3 times since you last checked! Ha! You also may need to check some of the blogs to see if you are seeing their entire blog. I have a sweet cousin that google reader only shows her first 3-4 lines of her blog so I always have to jump to read the rest of it or see her photos. I dont' know why blogger does that to her blog.

Now JB, as you can see from the photo below, my kids sometimes are clothes~less! This photo was taken as we were getting ready for the garage sale (she is wearing some house shoes I have had since I was in middle school! I used to wear them in my classroom when I was a teacher). My kids get hot during nap time and wake up MANY times n*ked! This day, I knew she would get nasty and we were going to a high school football game later that night, and I didn't want to get more dirty. I HATE laundry right now. Our neighbors must talk!

Here is Emaline and Bowden before the high school football game. Much better clothed! Isn't he just a cutie pie! He slept the entire football game in my arms. We had 2 blankets on top of him while I was holding him. MANY people thought I was nursing him on the second row of a high school football game! REALLY! So when it was appropriate, I would try to move him around and show his face without waking him. I joked that next time we visit that stadium there will be signs all around asking for nursing mothers to return to their car to do such things!
Just another post for the garage sale. These WERE NOT sold...but were a huge hit with my kids. They have been hidden in a trunk in the attic. I actually put on the good ol' Raggedy Ann outfit and a car driving by actually stopped at the sight of me in the garage. I just waved, they kept driving! By the way, these were part of my sing song costumes back in the day! I will celebrate 10 years!! I feel old.
Tiffany, I wish you would have found me. I would have loved to have met you. We left kind of quick after the wedding. With the unfortunate delay, we hit a feeding time! Don't feel wierd about approaching people you don't know but 'know' from blog land! I have done it! I think I embarrassed my husband terribly! We were in Cotton Patch and I stared at this girl for ever. I knew her story, so I told my husband...excuse me. I walked up to this 'stranger' and said ..." Excuse me, you don't know me..but I read your blog and know you just moved to this area!" She recognized me too, at atleast my kids. Now we teach next door to each other!

Thank you all for your comments. I will do my best to be a better blogger!!! EVEN with my 3 kids!

I've missed you blog

Why have I not kept up with you dear blog? I don't have a good excuse. Not one. I am sorry.

Here are just some random photos I found in some random albums!

Looks like I need to clean our the fridge more often! OOPS! Emaline thinking Bowden needed a friend!
Emaline and Emily born 1 day apart.
A couple of weeks ago, Parker got to bring home his class mascot, the Cheetah. We had to take pictures with it and do a scrapbook page.
When we were in Paris Bowden got to meet his new cousin Nolan. They hit it off.
Things are crazy right now. Literally. Must go...I will be better....but hey, some times I think no one reads this any more...would it kill you to leave a comment! Now, I know...I am not always the best commenter either, but I have tried to be better. Googlereader has spoiled me...and I sometimes am too lazy to hit that double arrow to take me to your new blog to leave a comment. I will try to do better!
