Girls Trip 2012

 In August, my MIL and SIL and NIECE and Emaline and MYSELF all went to San Marcos for a few days of shopping. Emaline was completely beside herself. Don't judge on this- but she had only stayed in a hotel once and she was 2. She doesn't remember, so shopping- she was excited, hotel- SHE WAS ECSTATIC!

 There is a Vera Bradely outlet there, and Emaline hooked up some great deals!

 I really wanted these glasses from Oakley, but they don't come in prescription. I REALLY wanted them.

 Emaline was super excited the hotel we stayed in had an E on it! JUST FOR HER!

This picture was before we left when she came in all ready to go. She may not have on shoes, but Lord have MERCY, she had her baby doll, baby diaper bag, her bag, a purse and a HUGE smile on her face. She was prepared, well, except for the shoes.

 

I mentioned she was ecstatic about the hotel, well, when we got there we went straight to the shopping. While shopping she kept asking when we were going to the hotel. I think this frustrated some of the shoppers- but they didn't know how she had built up that hotel in her head. It was almost freeing watching her show her feelings about the hotel. Like a 6 year old in a candy store, but it was a hotel. You can see it in some of the pictures. A great time and MANY bargains found!
