Some fashion questions...

A few things I think about when walking through stores:

1. Why is every shirt see through? WHY!? I mean, I like to try to look fashionable, but I do not like laundry. Why would I want to wear 3 shirts instead of just having a thick fabric. This completely puzzles me.

2. WHICH brings me to #2. WHY can't I find a white t-shirt that doesn't look like sheer white panty hose? AGAIN, Why should I layer? If I want to layer, I would buy any other the other shirts in the store, but I want one you can't see my 'girls' and my rolls, and anything else I really don't want you to see.

I JUST WANT A SHIRT YOU CAN'T SEE THROUGH! Is that too much to ask????

Girls Trip 2012

 In August, my MIL and SIL and NIECE and Emaline and MYSELF all went to San Marcos for a few days of shopping. Emaline was completely beside herself. Don't judge on this- but she had only stayed in a hotel once and she was 2. She doesn't remember, so shopping- she was excited, hotel- SHE WAS ECSTATIC!

 There is a Vera Bradely outlet there, and Emaline hooked up some great deals!

 I really wanted these glasses from Oakley, but they don't come in prescription. I REALLY wanted them.

 Emaline was super excited the hotel we stayed in had an E on it! JUST FOR HER!

This picture was before we left when she came in all ready to go. She may not have on shoes, but Lord have MERCY, she had her baby doll, baby diaper bag, her bag, a purse and a HUGE smile on her face. She was prepared, well, except for the shoes.

 

I mentioned she was ecstatic about the hotel, well, when we got there we went straight to the shopping. While shopping she kept asking when we were going to the hotel. I think this frustrated some of the shoppers- but they didn't know how she had built up that hotel in her head. It was almost freeing watching her show her feelings about the hotel. Like a 6 year old in a candy store, but it was a hotel. You can see it in some of the pictures. A great time and MANY bargains found!

Sad day

I mean, we grew up on these things. My kids didn't get them often- well, lets face it, if I bought them I ended up eating all of them so I did my best to stay away from that area! When Bowden and I went to get a box the morning they declared they were finished- the shelves were bare. We did manage to find one box on the end aisle.

We needed to document it. We actually have one box as a birthday gift that weekend. We also found out they he COULD have sold it and made some great money, but I do not think he did.

Duck Dynasty

I may have a slight problem. Slight. Our elf Elfin even dressed as Duck Dynasty....

My coteacher and I dressed like them on Halloween.

I LOVE the show. LOVE. I have friends that know the family. They are the real deal. It's a great show. It's clean. They love the Lord. If you haven't seen it, you SHOULD! It's worth it!  TOTALLY WORTH IT! You can check a marathon almost every weekend, and the new season starts in March! BRING ON THE DUCKS!
