An adventure

Parker had a day off from school, and I wanted to go to the pumpkin patch, but it was sooooo wet, that we decided an adventure to Denton would be nice. We packed up, called Mamma, and off we went. We picked her up, drove to the square and in the first 2 minutes lost one of Bowden's favorite sneakers. I mean we looked EVERYWHERE! We ate lunch on the square, walked around all 4 sides, ate ice cream, and toured the court house.





I may get this one printed for Ms. E. Although I can't deny ever standing like this....I love her style!

Washington

I am just starting to look at our Washington pictures....and I wanted to share these right away! We went on a company trip with Stacey's business, so he had meetings in the morning and we toured in the afternoons and evenings. Oh yeah, my inlaws were with us and we had a great time!

We went to Arlington Memorial Cemetery, and guess what happened???POURED DOWN RAIN! This is Stacey checking out Ted Kennedy's grave site. I was holding the umbrella.

Of course it would be...

hard to leave town! Stacey and I are leaving in the morning for Washington DC for company stuff for him. Of course things wouldn't go as planned. I won't go into all the details of today...but Emaline ended up at Urgent Care, B bit a chunk out of my back, and we are all missing Western Day at preschool! This always seems to happen. THis is WHY we didn't PLAN anything for our anniversary because something always comes up. We are going...and I am leaving the computer here. YES I AM! I will be taking my camera though....see ya in a few days.

Emaline and I were rocking this out today in the car. When it first came on her words were something to this: MOM, I love this song!

Isn't it amazing? How we let society tell us how we are suppose to act? How we are suppose to dress? Talk? Weigh? We let entertainment news tell us these things. We don't let the WORD, the LIGHT do this for us. THank you Lord Jesus for reminding me and my sweet daughter of this today. I hope this song blesses someone today, or tonight, or whenever you hear it!

Just a catch up

I have no idea why this is underlining. NONE. I can't see where I can change it either.


I was able to get in the front of the carpool line yesterday, the VERY first car! Parker has asked me to be first since the first day at school. We were out running errands and Emaline had fallen asleep. It didn't make sense to me to go home and then turn around and come right back to school so I drove on to school and was very productive! I cleaned out my purse, the console, used a wipee to clean the crevices of my console, and put up my state sticker all while Emaline slept. I had some snacks for Bowden so that made him happy for a while. Emaline woke up with just a few minutes until Parker got out. When Parker got into the car...I kept asking if he was proud of me. He didn't have much to say. This morning he told me this:
P: Mom, you don't have to be first in line anymore
MOMMY: But you asked me to be
P: I know, but now I have tried it, and I don't really like it, so now you can be at the end from now on.
MOMMY: Perfect.

I have been trying to get creative with the kids lunches and have found the wonderful world of Bento lunches. NOW, I am not obssessed like some of the people online, but am amazed at their creativity! I did order a few egg molds, and some sauce squirters. The sauce squirters are so small that truly only SOY sauce could fit in it, but I love the egg molds. These are the 2 I got!
